ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Allure Shirt is a work of art, draped with an attitude that captures the ease of a classic oversized shirt but covered with dissected details along the seam lines that allows you to play with styling in a wide variety of ways.

Unbutton a few of the tasseled button loops to flash a bit of shoulder or arm, or leave it fully buttoned and allow the fringed elements on the button loops to dance on their own.

This kinetic piece will quickly become a conversation stater wherever you wear it.

Crafted in a rich textured crepe fabric, which gives it its fluid and wrinkle resistant qualities.

INSPIRATION

“There is strength in vulnerability”, a quote from the designers explains how detailing within this design is inspired by the idea of opening up and sharing your inner most thoughts and feelings.

The Pre-Fall collection is an exploration into the heritage and identity of palmer//harding. This self examination takes form in the shape of dissected garments which provide transformative designs for day to day dressing.

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

palmer//harding launched in 2011 with the simple idea to elevate the humble shirt.

We believe in originality and creativity, and these fundamentals are at the heart and soul of each palmer//harding piece.

Levi Palmer (Belton, Texas) and Matthew Harding (London, England), both alumni of Londons’ Central Saint Martins, live and work in London.

We approach each collection by examining the emotional journeys that we experience, and creating narratives through verb lists which are in turn used to drape and sculpt shapes with fabric across the body.

The sculptural aspect of the design process is an integral part of the brands’ identity - creating unique pieces, centred on the shirt, but also developed across dresses, outerwear, knitwear and other categories.
