Sporty elegance is built into this oversized shirt.

Incorporating a ribbed jersey panel at the waistline, the front appears cropped and accentuates the waistline.

Meanwhile the loose and oversized body, that is longer in the back, envelopes you in a romantic silhouette. A wide collar that perfectly frames the face completes this shirt.

This softly structured cotton twill is a blend, making it versatile, comfortable and easy to care for.

INSPIRATION

Symbolising the quest for completeness, circular shapes, cut into the pattern of the body of the garment, serve as a visual reminder of the cyclical nature of life endeavours in our pursuit for fulfilment.

In the pursuit of completeness, individuals often find themselves caught in a perpetual cycle, rushing through the journey in anticipation of finding ultimate happiness at its end. However, the truth lies in embracing the incompleteness of life and cherishing each moment along the way. AW24 is a gentle reminder to embrace the beauty of incompleteness and savour the richness of each moment as we traverse life's intricate pathways.

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

palmer//harding launched in 2011 with the simple idea to elevate the humble shirt.

We believe in originality and creativity, and these fundamentals are at the heart and soul of each palmer//harding piece.

Levi Palmer (Belton, Texas) and Matthew Harding (London, England), both alumni of Londons’ Central Saint Martins, live and work in London.

We approach each collection by examining the emotional journeys that we experience, and creating narratives through verb lists which are in turn used to drape and sculpt shapes with fabric across the body.

The sculptural aspect of the design process is an integral part of the brands’ identity - creating unique pieces, centred on the shirt, but also developed across dresses, outerwear, knitwear and other categories.
