ABOUT THIS PIECE
The Assembled shirt is two looks in one, this sophisticated and flirty shirt at first appears to be a fitted long sleeve button down with fringe at the shoulders.
But on second inspection you will see that the sleeves can unbutton to become a flirty sleeveless shirt with loop and tassel detailing.
Perfect to wear to the office then unbutton for a date night or dinner with friends.
Box pleats at the waist create the fit and flare shape and a wide collar finishes it off with a gentle nostalgic flare.
Our most classic fabrication, optic white cotton broad cloth is a densely woven plain cotton material perfect for shirting.

INSPIRATION
“There is strength in vulnerability”, a quote from the designers explains how detailing within this design is inspired by the idea of opening up and sharing your inner most thoughts and feelings.
The Pre-Fall collection is an exploration into the heritage and identity of palmer//harding. This self examination takes form in the shape of dissected garments which provide transformative designs for day to day dressing.

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS
palmer//harding launched in 2011 with the simple idea to elevate the humble shirt.
We believe in originality and creativity, and these fundamentals are at the heart and soul of each palmer//harding piece.
Levi Palmer (Belton, Texas) and Matthew Harding (London, England), both alumni of Londons’ Central Saint Martins, live and work in London.
We approach each collection by examining the emotional journeys that we experience, and creating narratives through verb lists which are in turn used to drape and sculpt shapes with fabric across the body.
The sculptural aspect of the design process is an integral part of the brands’ identity - creating unique pieces, centred on the shirt, but also developed across dresses, outerwear, knitwear and other categories.
Each palmer//harding piece has a unique story to tell, which can be discovered in the "About this Piece" section.
